What it’s like working in a caring field while being “neurodiverse”

I found a good post on what it’s like to study and work in healthcare while having aspergers.  The link I’m putting up is titled:

“Diary of an autistic social work student: “it’s tiring trying to fit into a neuro-typical world”

One social work student reflects on the additional challenges facing autistic social workers and their need for greater awareness from their peers”

I hope it will give an insight into what it’s like for me as a nurse with an autistic spectrum disorder as well a making people think about the important of being mindful and understanding of people who are different from average.
